Sugarloaf

From the summit of Sugarloaf Mountain the view across Chaleur Bay to the distant Gaspé hills is magnificent. Sugarloaf Provincial Park, with more than 25 km (15.5 mi.) of hiking and mountain-biking trails. Atlantic Canada’s only lift-accessible Mountain Bike Park was created with the outdoor enthusiast in mind. Tennis, volleyball and paddleboats are among other recreational possibilities open to summer visitors. A 76-site woodland campground with many amenities will entice you to spend time exploring the storied valley of the Restigouche River.

In winter, Alpine ski slopes as well as 22 km (14 mi.) of groomed cross-country trails beckon skiers; while a 32-km (20-mi.) snowmobile route connects with the provincial trail system. Sugarloaf also boasts an on-site ski school and facilities for snowboarding, tube sliding and ice-skating.

Take a ride in our new Mountain Bike Park; the only lift-serviced Mountain Bike Park in Atlantic Canada! Trails for all ability levels, from beginner to expert.
