Atholville

Atholville is a small municipality along the banks of the Restigouche River incorporated in 1966. For those who like fresh air, the Sugarloaf Park offers a variety of activities. Depending on the season, you can enjoy walking, mountain biking, birdwatching, cross-country or down-hill skiing, snowmobiling, outdoor skating and much more.

People come from all around to enjoy the friendly and bilingual services of the Shopping Center with its various retail stores that keep establishing themselves in the municipality. And finally, enjoy a moment of tranquility to read a book or use the Internet in our modern library.

In may 2009, the mayor will celebrate 40 years of service (2 years as Councillor and 38 years as Mayor). One, if not the, longest mandate in Canada.
